I built a job-search product that discovers roles, explains mutual fit and prepares a coordinated application package.
Collect full descriptions from relevant vacancy sources.
Compare the work and requirements with experience, interests, and constraints.
Build coordinated documents using relevant, grounded evidence.
Check the package, submit personally, and use outcomes to improve the rules.

01 / The problem
A title is a poor shortcut for the actual work in a vacancy. Careful selection requires reading the responsibilities, understanding the employer and comparing the requirements with real experience. Doing that across a large pool of roles left little attention for the opportunities I wanted to pursue.
02 / The build
Offero collects full role descriptions and assesses the work against my experience, interests and constraints. It explains the relevant strengths and gaps, so I can inspect the reasoning behind a recommendation. I calibrated that assessment through close review and an audit of application outcomes.
For a selected role, the workflow prepares a CV, cover letter, outreach draft and interview notes from a shared account of the application. Factual review keeps claims connected to the underlying career evidence. I make the final decision and inspect and submit the materials myself.
I defined the product around my own search, built the workflow and dashboard, and refined the rules while using it. The first prototype took a day; I brought it to a working state over the following week and continued improving it through real applications.
03 / In practice
Responsibilities determine the role category
Specific projects support the relevant requirements
Essential gaps stay visible and can cap the score
Review the fit, then prepare the application package

04 / The result
Offero assesses more than 1,000 roles weekly in my own search. Once a role is selected and the materials are prepared, my review, company research and submission typically take 10–15 minutes, or up to 30 minutes for an important application. Comparable custom preparation previously took me two to three hours; those estimates exclude finding and selecting the vacancy.
Its broader value is the depth of coverage: I can examine more opportunities carefully and reserve my attention for the ones that fit. These are results from my own use, with final judgment and submissions remaining mine.
